One of Bandai Namco's most iconic and lucrative IPs, Gundam, entrusted the North American team in launching and supporting their new F2P game Gundam Evolution. The title was an incredible business opportunity, but demanded a strong release. I was selected to be the primary UX/UI designer to take the project to success. The game's website and beta sign up process, essential to the customer journey, were my main responsibilities. In addition, I provided support to the launch of the game, designed social & marketing materials, and customizable email templates.

Invoking excitement with contrasting elements. Colors, patterns, & aesthetical hierarchy
I was given a limited amount of gameplay footage to base some of the websites core visual elements off of, however the end result worked out nicely. Bright neon yellow typography and blue CTAs, contrasted over darker space themed backgrounds, alongside varying, bold font sizes made for an epic combination of recognizable hierarchy & visual eye candy.

This can be done by incorporating imagery, animation/videos, demo walkthroughs or interactive prototypes, etc. Nothing is worse than organizing a document that nobody is going to read, or lose interest midway through when approvals are necessary to move a project forward. Plenty of stakeholders know the feeling of burnout after reviewing 100+ word docs back to back.
